Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Easy to Use Very good product and easy to use. I repaired the bottom of my driveway and it has blended in well with the existing tarmac. I used a piece of timber and a lump hamer to compact and the finish is very good. Only 3 stars for reliability as its only been down for 1 week, time will tell!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product(s) I have used the pothole repair together with the sealer spray numerous times on repairs in retail car parks and buisness parks-busy traffic areas. First of all it is the best product I have come across to date.it’s grainy texture gets in the gaps where you cut out to make a clean deep enough joint and forms a good joint to existing surface. When filling the hole leave the pothole repair proud of existing surface so it compacts level or slightly proud for run off-I usually use a 60+kg wacker plate-but have also hand tamped smaller repairs. This is a far superior product to any ‘bagged’ repair which doesn’t stay in the hole long in my experience although it is more expensive-I’m self employed so I only want to do the job once so this is the stuff to use. The tubs it comes in are good for re-using as rubble tubs/buckets too and easy to stack in your van and don’t split open in your van either. The sealer spray I use around the edges prior to filling and then after on joints -looks tidy and actually helps the joint stay together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Used this product for the first time at the BlueCross animal charity, the cost of getting a contractor to fill the potholes is a big burden on our resources, this product proved to be very effective and easy to use at a fraction of the cost.

Can this be used to patch concrete where part of our works yard has subsided? Just thought it'd more flexible than concrete which would crack under the weight of HGV's??

Will this work on cracks in tarmac drive?

Can I use this for multiple narrow and fairly shallow cracks in my tarmac drive rather than an actual pot hole?

Hi, could someone please tell me what the layer on layer process involves? Thanks

Asked by: Beandog
It’s saying don’t fill a deep pothole and expect it to set properly. instead fill the bottom 100 mm, leave it to set then put a further layer on of 100 mm, leave to set and so on

I intend to power spray the potholes to ensure all dirt removed, do I have to wait until surfaces are dry before using spray and filler?

Asked by: Geoff5479
from UltraCrete website Application Pothole repairs can be achieved at any depth. 1. Ensure pothole is free of debris and standing water. 2. Apply UltraCrete SCJ spray sealant to pothole edges. 3. Apply the product slightly proud of the pothole. 4. Compact with a hand tamper, or suitable mechanical alternative.

Asked by: JFLeics
from UltraCrete website Coverage Approx 1m2 at 12-15mm compacted, depending on the surface regularity of the reinstatements
