Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beware outlet pipe size Almost all macerators can be plumbed to a range of pipe sizes 20-40mm, but it is only when you open the box (and so can not return the product) that you read in the instruction manual that this macerator can not be used with any size of outlet pipe except 32mm - if you use smaller sizes it affects the pump timer, so unless you install 32mm from the macerator to your soil pipe, your warranty will be void. You can NOT use it with the typical 21.5-22mm pipework

Rated 1 out of 5 by from blocks up over time I have had to clean it out 3 times over 2 years. I believe that the problem is having half flush . the slugs collect just over the inlet pipe and eventually the buildup does blocks the macerator. I think the macerators with chopping blades with slugs directly entering the bladed area are the way to go

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Care needed if use with shower It’s not clear enough on the instructions but if you’re using this with the shower tray you will need at least 130 mm between the bottom of the shower trap and the macerator input. So if your shower trap is 70mm mm in depth you will need a 200 mm drop from your shower to the macerator input. Make sure you are aware of this before you install your shower tray. The dirty waste from the toilet pan will sit inside the macerator until a level is reached and then the pump is triggered. I found this dirty water will flow past the nonreturn valve and up the pipe towards the shower. Sani flow told me this is normal so the nonreturn valve does not stop all the waste going back up the shower pipe this is why they say you need such a big gap to the shower tray. Other than this I have found this unit to be relatively quiet and operates well. Even though it is branded is turbo flush it is made by Sani flow

Macerator Discharge

Can I connect the Macerators 32mm discharge pipe immediately after the Macerator to a 50mm or 100mmhorizontally sloping pipe of 10 meter length? Or does it have to stay at 32mm all the way.
Asked by: farmwr
Hello farmwr, The Turboflush discharge would need to be done on 32mm all the way, however you can increase the horizontal pipe run to a bigger diameter to 50mm but 32mm should be sufficient. Thank you for using Q&A
