Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reliable & Dependable Having bought a Tacwise which was useless I returned it and paid the extra for this. So wish I had purchased it in the first place. The build quality is great as you would expect from Makita. The first thing you notice is the weight which makes it feel sturdy/balanced. This is good and bad. Good because you can tell it's not going to fall apart if dropped, but bad in that if you need to do an extended amount of stapling and it's upside down the weight of the unit and battery isn't optimal. Battery life on a 3mah is more than enough to get through a full box of 10mm x 10mm Makita staples. It's easy to see where the depressing safety tab is when you are pressing it against the material you are stapling. Not one jam or misfire on a whole box of staples and the load-unload was without any issue (and done one-handed). It could do with an LED light as with the Makita routers etc and also the battery connection plate doesn't seem to keep the battery on tight. Don't by any means let this put you off as it's a great bit of kit and if you can afford the budget then definitely will do you proud.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good performance ,but . Il start with the positives. Very powerful, easy to use . The negatives are only my personal opinion for my trade which is in flooring. The staples are to wide and could do with being narrower . The nose of the gun could do with being more pronounced so you can point the nose of the gun into the desired spot. Overall it’s a good staple gun and gets used everyday with no issues .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Expensive But Good That’s Makita - expensive but good As expected this does exactly what it is expected time after time. My last one went on for years in all weathers with little more than a quick squirt of wd40 on the cartridge. For the regular user it’s well worth the money.
