Acoustalay 3mm Self-Adhesive Foam Underlay 10m² (381RT)
Trade underlay, to be used as an insulating or spot levelling layer between an engineered or solid wood floor and the sub-floor. Manufactured from high quality, physically cross-linked 3mm polyolefin foam giving cushioning support & 100% recovery, ensuring the life of the floor. Offers loading performance of 300kg/m2 with less than 10% compression under load. Ideally suited for acoustically sensitive commercial areas and heavy domestic applications, and can be used with embedded underfloor heating. Self-adhesive backing, (protected by a release liner prior to installation), significantly reduces installation time and enables the flooring to be bonded directly to the underlay. If laid on a concrete sub-floor, a separate vapour barrier should be used.
