Delivery - FAQs

Order by 8pm Monday - Friday or 4pm Saturday & Sunday for next day delivery to home or site.

Saturday & Sunday delivery available. See Delivery Page for charges.

Deliveries are between 8:30am and 6:30pm Monday - Friday, premium deliveries are before the time selected and weekend deliveries are between 9:00am and 5:00pm.

A signature will be required on delivery, you can choose your delivery day up to 7 days in advance. If you have provided a mobile number you should receive a text message from 7am on the day of delivery with an estimated 1 hour time slot and a link to live tracking information.

  • Can I track my order?

    Once your item has been dispatched you will receive an email with the courier's details and your consignment number, this can be used to track your order.

    Note: Items with the lorry icon are delivered direct from our supplier and cannot be tracked.

    If you have provided your mobile number then you will receive a free text message around 7am on the day of delivery informing you of an estimated 1 hour time slot, the name of the driver and a link to live tracking so you can follow your parcels progress.

  • Can I have my order delivered to a different address?

    You can enter a new delivery address while you are placing an order. Or, if you are registered with Screwfix.com, you can add additional addresses to your Address Book.

    To protect our customers all orders are subject to standard security checks.

    Delivery Restrictions apply to some addresses.

  • What happens if I am not in when the delivery arrives?

    All orders will require a signature on delivery. If you have supplied your mobile number you will receive a free text message around 7am on the day of delivery informing you of an estimated 1 hour time slot, the name of the driver and a link to live tracking so you can follow your parcels progress.

    However, if no one is available to sign for the parcel, the couriers will leave a 'we missed you' contact card with details of what actions will be taken. Where possible the driver will attempt to leave with a neighbour or a local Post Office. If this is not appropriate they will attempt to deliver the order the following day.

    After two failed attempts you will need to contact the courier using the details on the contact card to arrange collection or a new delivery date. If a mobile number has been provided, a text message will also be sent confirming this.

  • I am ordering from Northern Ireland, how long can I expect to wait for delivery?

    Delivery to Northern Ireland is usually within 2 working days.

  • Can I get delivery to countries outside of the UK?

    We are able to deliver to other countries within the EU.

    For Republic of Ireland please visit Screwfix Ireland.

    For Germany please visit Screwfix Germany.

    For all other EU countries please visit Screwfix Europe to establish if we can deliver to your location.

  • My delivery is missing an item, what should I do?

    Firstly check whether you have received all parcels on the consignment, this information should be available to view on the delivery label. If you have received all of your parcels, but an item is still missing, please Contact Us with the order and product details so that we can investigate further.

    If you have collected your order in store and some products are missing, please return to the store for assistance.
