Features a 24-hour resettable PIN code for visitors or tradespeople, tamper alarm and incorrect PIN code alert for additional security. Powered by 4 AA batteries, so will continue to work in the event of mains power failure and warns when the batteries are low. Replaces existing rim cylinders used on a night latch with 60mm backset.

How does the override work, Is a key required in the event of flat batteries?

Good Afternoon, and thank you for the message. No, it is not required a key in event of flat batteries, underneath the touch pad there is a terminal for 9V battery which allows you to override. Regards, Yale.
