Front Support Straps ???
There is no way the straps provided with the 85L version will reach from the pan to the main frame ahead of the wheel. The holes in the frame appear to have been drilled in the wrong place as the struts are nearly two inches short.

I totally understand the point about the support straps and I also thought they wouldn’t fit at first. There are 2 problems that make it confusing 1) the instructions aren’t written that well 2) the support struts have a 90 degree end and a ~120 degree end and the instructions don’t make it clear that the 90 degree end attaches to the pan and flexes when everything is tightened up. The important part is that It does say to only put all the nuts on 2 turns at first while assembling then tighten up fully when everything is assembled. If you do that and follow each step literally without skipping forwards then it does work and the strut ends flex to fit flush with the pan. I guess it’s done this way to ensure there’s tension in the pan so it’s not loose when fully assembled. It’s definitely not clear from the instructions, but it does actually go together pretty easily if you just plough on with some confidence.
