Rated 4 out of 5 by from handy little cutter bought this for a very small bathroom job and mainly because I didn't want to carry my larger cutters with me and space was limited. Used on 200x200 tiles and this worked absolutely fine. the breaker I found worked better with a short, sharp hit (almost like a karate chop action) rather than pressing down hard and continually. there is a notch guide at the top to line up any marks, it does feel a little flimsy and may may not stand the test of time on larger jobs, however, for the price and smaller jobs this worked perfectly well for me. handy to have on the van should you not need to lug a larger 600 or 900 cutter around into smaller areas, or worse, up several flights of stairs!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super effective tile cutter Having always used the big named tools in the past for my DIY, and been a bit of a novice when it came to tiling I bought this because it seamed great value. It is so easy to use, lightweight, gives a really professional finish and worked really well. I was able to do my bathroom and kitchen with ease. Definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Requires Modification After reading the conflicting reviews I decided to take the risk and hope that the negative reviews were down to operator error, rather than the tool being of poor quality. I’ll admit after a few trial cuts I was ready to write the tool off and use an angle grinder as there were issues early on. I would recommend you persevere if your having issues as it takes some getting used to but when you’ve made a few cuts, you’ll start flying through tiles. The design isn’t exactly ergonomic as you can’t see the cutting wheel without having your face on the floor. The breaker tool dangles behind the cutting wheel, catching the tile as you slide the handle down the rail. This was remedied using an elastic band around the breaker, looped around the handle. As other reviews mention, the breaker is metal and will mark tile. Insulation tape around either end sorted that. After these modifications, it cut fairly well through 8mm porcelain tile. A good amount of pressure is required for an adequate score, however I did find the ends required cleaning up with a stone as some tiles didn’t break completely clean. I used it for a herringbone tile install so there were plenty of cuts and it didn’t seem to deteriorate so should last. Overall, not perfect but useable.
