Rated 1 out of 5 by from Check Max number of fixtures Mine came with a sticker stating a max of 10 led bulbs can be connected to each gang. This is not in the spec and upset my sparky as he has to come back to finish the second fix. Wonder if he will charge for the extra time?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet dimmer that works Recently purchased new flat. Had been fitted with cheap dimmer switches and low quality LED bulbs. Result was awful buzzing noise and very uneven dimming- down a bit and then off. Replaced bulbs but dimming performance very poor. Then I replaced all the dimmers with the Varilight V Pro ones and the difference was amazing. Totally silent with a smooth dim all the way to zero. It may be subjective but I think the quality of the light improved as well. Easy to fit and they look smarter being screwless face plate. Definitely recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the price Have a couple of these fitted in the house. Much better than the cheaper LAP version, well made and the lack of screws on the faceplate looks very smart. No noise from lights or dimmer, and the soft on/off works very well. Clear instructions that allow you to adjust min/max brightness and change between leading/trailing edge mode without taking the switch off. Only downside is that they need a fair bit of room in the back box otherwise they're a bit difficult to fit as the terminals are at the bottom of the dimmer module, this is more of a problem for the two way version though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought two, both faulty I purchased one of these and upon fitting found it to be faulty - the button kept sticking. Screwfix great in giving me a replacement, but after 3 months the button became faulty on the replacement one! Not even sticking this time, just totally inactive (unable to switch lights on at all). Screwfix again great in giving me a replacement - this time not Varilight. So the 1* is for the product, not for Screwfix who as usual provide a good customer service.

Minimum load 10w?

Please could you confirm the minimum load for this dimmer? The image of the rear of the dimmer unit states "minimum load 10w", whereas the coloured icon states minimum 0w. I am enquiring about LED dimming

What does it mean Leading Edge or Trailing Edge Option?

I fitted g9 LED capsule bulbs and they don't dim all the way down to 0w. However, it does dim properly with g9 halogens bulbs. What do i do to switch on trailing edge?

2-way operation using 2 of these, with 1 switch as 'slave'?

I'd like to use 2 of these switches to control 1 dimmable LED strip (via constant voltage TRIAC LED driver). I would like both switches to be able to dim the LED's. Can I buy 2 of these switches and set 1 to 'slave' operation?

More than 10 bulbs

Hi, I noticed the ratings say 10 bulbs, what would happen if I installed this onto a lamp with 14 3w G9 LEDs. Or do you do another switch that could handle 14 bulbs. Thank you.
