How are these both m8 and m10 thread?

Asked by: Killerklown88
Hi Killerklown88 The nut on the clip has two threads; If look into the nut the thread closest to you will be M10 and half way down it will change to M8. Hope this explains it.

Do these pipe clips require a male threaded back plate, I can only see female backplate at screwfix or am I missing something?

Asked by: Anonymous
Good morning Keith We are working with Screwfix to list the male back-plates, this should happen shortly. What installers mainly use is 10mm studding that they can cut to size then, use the female back-plates to secure it. If need a male back-plate you could use, screwfix part number; 3636X. Hope this helps

Can these be fit for 15mm copper pipes of hot water? What back plate does it need?

Asked by: dFixer
Good morning dFxer Yes, they can be used on hot water pipes and central heating pipes You could just Studding 5434V and cut it to size and the female back-plate 5692X Or if you only want to use a bracket, without cutting studding you could use 3636X. You can then screw the bracket directly to them. Hope this helps
