Can I obtain extra parts?
The bolt comes with one 'plate' that is fixed to the floor which the bolt slides into, to keep the gate shut. I need an additional 'plate' or 'keep' for when the gate is wide open and I want it kept open. Are these available separately?

How far does the bolt move between open and closed position. I think this is called the "throw"?
I need a gate closure that will span a gap of 40mm so the bolt needs to extend at least 70mm

Hello Adrian1818,
This product uses brackets that are movable so depending on how you position these will depend on how much movement you get. You should be able to get at least 70mm from it though.
