Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Price, Does the Job Although I call myself a DiY'er I own up to having thirteen doors changed by a professional carpenter. It took him 3 days, I'd probably still be at it... So, having asked him, he said these (2 doors) were fine, straightforward to fit. From my point of view the chrome finish is all I can see and it's neat. The bolt works. As ever with Screwfix they always ask for a reliability rating a few days after you buy something. Who knows at this point... And 5 stars is 'exceptional'; 4 is 'very good' - nothing wrong with that!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value Good value for money, does what it's supposed to, Only just fitted so can't really comment on reliability yet

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value Bolt Just fitted to a toilet door in a new office building, so too early to comment on reliability, but operates smoothly and seems well made. Be warned... the head snapped off the first of the supplied screws, despite having drilled a pilot hole and using a low torque setting on my driver. I used my own screws for the rest of the job.

Collected the dead bolt and it says 75mm on the lack label. Online says it should be 76mm. Why is it not 76mm?

are these compatible with fire doors/

Do they conform to building regs, my builder says they are not right?
Asked by: Shivlet
Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. On their own your builder is right. However, if they are used in conjunction with intumescent protection, (which we do not currently sell) they can be used with fire doors. Hope that helps. Thank you for using Q&A. MH
