Rated 4 out of 5 by from SIKA Waterproof Coating. Have used before with good results. Make sure you mix it well before applying.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I was expecting Wanted to waterproof my concrete floor and bought this to 'brush-on'. Having not done this before I got it wrong. It is more like a self leveling compound. I thought it was ready to use straight from the bucket but you need to add water, then it drys too quickly so you can't spread it around properly. May not be a problem with the product, just a warning to others, it's not a finish coating for concrete.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Must have done something wrong I bought 4 tubs of this stuff to waterproof the inside lower wall and floor of a brick built shed. Cleaned and washed surfaces to be treated. Mixed in exact proportions specified. Applied 2 coats in some areas and 3 in very damp areas. Waited at least 24 hours between coats. Instructions say 30 mins working time - more like 15 mins. What a waste of time, money and effort. Product has started lifting in several areas. Blowed if I'm going to waste more time and money buying more. Will do the job the traditional way with DP membrane and screed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Used to seal a damp wall before dry lining. It does take a bit of mixing, you really need a drill on slow, just mix a small amount at a time about 200cl water per kg don’t forget to wet the wall first before using. You need 2 coats and need to wait 24 hrs inbetween. But it worked great and being quite thick will get into small imperfections. Dries grey dot dab adhered well. Going to be using on some smaller damp patch repairs also. Good product

I've a old stone garage and when it rains the water gets in. Is this the best product to seal it up and waterproof it or what would you recommend?

Disposal of waste mixture/liquid

What's the best way to dispose of the wet mixture/leftover liquid? Is it safe to just pour down the drain into a private septic tank?

Hi. Unfortunately this is only suitable for mineral substrates and should not be used on wood.

Do you need to use a primer on a block wall first??

Asked by: Damo88
Hi, a primer is not needed. The substrate should be dampened thoroughly with no standing water before application.
