Gravity fed shower

Hi I have gravity fed shower which needs a pump so would this pump both hot and cold water to my shower thank you
Asked by: Terence50
Thank you for your query. The CT55 is only designed for either hot or cold not both you would require a twin pump. Depending on your set up would depend on what pump would be best. The best thing to do would be to contact technical on 0191 516 2002.

Will the pump work with a supply of 1m of head?

Only to supply hot water to bath and sink
Asked by: Smartyn
The CT55+x is designed for positive head individual outlets, not for use on mixer outlets like mixer taps or showers. There is a minimum requirement of 2 litre per minute of natural flow for the pump to work correctly I would advise checking this on the outlets you are considering pumping to.

Pump feet/fixing down

I notice this newer model just has rubber feet unlike it's predecessor which can be screwed down. When this pump is running what measures ensure the pump doesn't move/creep?
Asked by: NicknameAlreadyInUse123
The pump is never to be screwed down, This was changed to stop the pump getting screwed down as the pump should always have room for movement on initial start up to prevent any damage. As long as your pipework is all clipped and secured the pump will not move position.

Salamander shower pump ct50

How long is the electric lead on this please
Asked by: Pressie

Gravity fed electric shower

Would this pump be suitable for a gravity fed 8.5 kw electric shower? Using a gravity fed Triton TS80i pumped shower at the moment but its just too noisy Thanks!
Asked by: andy308
Hello if it is a electric shower then no. You will have to go to a negative head pump. The closet one to that would be a CT60BU
