Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fitted for a kitchen tap I fitted this as the customer changed their tap to a tap that boils water etc. This left the tap with a really poor flow rate. I installed this on the hot tap pipework under the sink. Made the flow rate as good as the cold tap. It is slightly noisy, customer was happy with that as the flow rate was better than it’s ever been. Installed on a gravity fed system.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Noisy & leaked after 4 months So much noiser than expected and developed a leak after 4 months. Tried to get a replacement via Salamander customer support however they refused saying I needed to get a dedicated feed installed; which would costs 1000's for the sake of a £100+ pump. Replaced with a Stuart Turner pump (for less than I paid for the Salamander) which is very quiet and working perfectly. Won't be using Salamander again - very dissapointed by their poor customer service and lack of recommendations.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute Rubbish Installed for exactly 1 year and it has now failed, appears to be seized. Only used to boost pressure to toilet in bathroom. I would not waste my money on another one and to be honest having read other reviews I can't even be bothered to try and get it fixed/replaced - so it will go to scrap and lesson learnt. I will stick to Stuart Turner in future.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unit failed after 2 months I installed a CT55+ in early November. It was easy install, and was working well sorted out low pressure issue in the hot water. However last week the motor burnt out and is now dead. Currently trying to get Salamander to send a replacement.... I would avoid this brand as I've heard this is quite a common fault.

What connections come with this.

It states that in Ireland it has to be used with Irish 21mm connections to ensure warranty. Does it come with them or do you have to buy separately.

Fitting on cold supply from tank in attic

Can I plumb this directly into the cold feed from tank in the attic . I have a thermostatic manual mixer shower I want to boost the cold supply to. There’s no room in hot water tank cupboard to install.

Please can you tell me, i have recently fitted a rainfall shower head to my electric shower, but doesn't come out with a lot of pressure. Can this pump be fitted to a electric shower to help increase water pressure?

As long as the electric shower is fed directly from main water you could fit the Homeboost Pump directly on the mains line to service the shower. Pump would need 3LPM to activate and deliver 12LPM capped by water regs. IF the elect shower is fed from a cold water tank we would need a different pump
