Clear instructions on use, easily connected, good design and features, and had a large 12v battery up and running within a short space of time. Can I use this at the side of a road?

Does this need to be plugged in to the mains or can I use at th side of the road. Asking as my car is parked on the street and unfortunately been neglected with the lights on and no mains sockets available.

can this be used to charge my 50cc motor scooter battery?

Hello Sweetonmess, The 4A car Battery Charger 12v is not ideal for use on a 50cc mortor scooter battery. As a guide a typical recommended charge rate is 10% the size of the battery. i.e. for RCB104, which has a 4A charge rate the typical minimum battery size would be 40Ah. Motor scooters are likely to be at least half this size. Thanks for using Question and Answer.

Is this charger suitable for charging a caravan leisure battery?

Helllo MikeGeeMike. Unfortunatly the Ring RCB104 4A Car Battery Charger would not be suitible for use with a caravan lleisure battery. Ideally the charger for a battery this size should be nearer 8A. Thank you for using Question & Answer
