Hi,
We would not anticipate any significant effects, short or long term, if the cable is plastered over; if there are any effects then these would most likely present themselves during the curing/drying phase of the plaster but would be short-lived. Over the long term there could potentially be some migration of the plastciser resulting in loss of flexibility but this should not be an issue if the cable is fixed (i.e. not subjected to repeated flexing). Otherwise, we would recommend not loading the cables before the plaster is dried and to consider 'capping' the cable wherever possible.
