Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value My old gun gave up after many years, I wanted a replacement that would not cost the earth. This sealant gun is worth every penny, well made and just what I wanted. Recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good and got the job done Great, but only issue is that the release lever isn’t very positive. Always feels like it’s a bit lacking. But having said that the job went well and the gun was fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it’s supposed to do Had many of these guns and they haven’t let me down yet. Occasionally have to clean the plunger down to prevent it sticking but others than that its always in my tool box

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value and sturdy Decent and sturdy. The push bar is definitely solid and the handle has a good feel. Only slight dissappointment/complaint is that the bar release didn't feel like it was reliably releasing every time but otherwise it works well. I think it's slightly over-priced when I compare to the poundland one that worked nearly just as well. But I would still buy this again if I had to.

Will a 300ml tube of silicone fit in it?

I've got a tube of Soudal Silirub N silicone, which is 300ml. The tube length is 21.5cm and the diameter is 5cm. I want to check that this tube will fit into the sealant gun. I'm guessing yes...but want to be sure! Thanks for any help!

Would this work for a 290ml cartridge?

Cartridge has already been used once before.

Hello Alice456, This may work on a 290mm cartridge but it would depend on the exact size. Thank you for using Q&A

Just recently bought this item. Iam struggling to use it as it is tough to press or release the application.

I have used multiple sealant types to confim if it is gun or the sealant. The gun seems to be very tight or hard to press or release. When I release it still does not move smoothly. I have to push it out hard. Is this how the item suppose to be?

Feel stupid but don’t know how to get tube in!

Do I need to unscrew the end? There seems to be a hexagonal nut there? Also how do I stop the stuff coming out when I’ve finished a strip? Can’t see a release trigger. I bought some spare nozzles with caps. Would I swap it over?
Asked by: Doerupperlass
Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. We're not born knowing these things! Behind the trigger there is a small plate, if you depress that it allows the plunger to be moved. If you pull the plunger handle back towards you you can then slip the tube in place, then push the plunger down through the tube and it will be held in place. Then in if you squeeze the trigger several times the sealant will start to come out. When you are using it you can ease off the trigger towards the end of the run and it will slow down. When finished a run if you depress that small plate again and withdraw the plunger slightly you shouldn't lose too much sealant, (I always put a cloth or tissue over the nozzle to prevent making a mess). When finished for the day use a nozzle otherwise it will go hard and you will need a new nozzle next time you come to use the sealant. Hope that helps. Thank you for using Q&A.
