Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolute beasts! After watching countless video reviews I decided to give this combo a try and I can honestly say it’s a case of it needs to be seen to be believed! The power is unbelievable. After coming from an old dewalt from a fair few years ago this really does shine. Yes it may appear pricey but it’s worth every penny! Delivery was actually quicker than stated, as the site explained it was experiencing higher than normal orders due to COVID but my order arrived a day early lol! Used screwfix several times and it never disappoints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant pieces of kit Both drill and impact gun are used within an inch of their life daily. Never yet have failed to perform. This ensures that our work is completed on time and we can make a profit. Very reliable. Interchangeable batteries also is a big plus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Drill and Impact I bought these a year ago for a house renovation and I use them almost daily for furniture making and craft work. They have never let me down. Their diminutive size was a worry when I first saw them - like they wouldn't be up to the task - but they have all the power you'll ever need (unless you want to drill 18" holes into concrete!) and I was once caught out when a forstner bit snagged and a poorly secured piece of work was flipped around 180 degrees! My bad. Anyway their small size is not an indication of their power and I actually prefer it now for getting into tight spaces and despite also having an 18v DeWalt platform alongside the Milwaukee I plan to buy another one of these rather than the DCD996 as it's just perfect. If you're in the market for a combi drill and impact driver I really can't recommend this highly enough. It does seem expensive compared to some twin packs but it just works and gets the job done every time. The Milwaukee batteries also seem to last a lot longer than the DeWalt equivalents - I use the M18 Fuel router and it lasts all day whereas the DeWalt batteries on their brushless grinder and random orbital sander are depleted much more quickly than you'd expect. So if you're considering this set but umming and ahhring over the extra cost compared to other twin packs I'd say just take the hit now and buy it - you'll be rewarded with flawless tools that effortlessly get the job done day in day out.
