Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built Saw Bought this saw for some DIY jobs around the house and garden, i already use one of the Makita LXT combi drill sets so made sense to buy this bare to use along with those batteries to save on the cost ,very happy with the purchase so far batteries fit perfectly and saw seems to be well built and of good quality does have some weight to it at just over 3kg without the batteries also i really like the tool less mechanism to fit the saw blades simple and easy to use design that feels very secure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10 Second Job I bought this to cut through a cast iron pipe to modify a soil stack. It comes with 2x bi-metal 152mm blades, however after having a go with these first it was evident a longer blade was necessary. To so the job I purchased some Milwaukee 230mm ice-hardened sawzall blades, bit expensive but they worked fantastic, cut through the pipe in about 15 seconds. I used the saw with a 5.0Ah battery. Highly recommend for pipe cutting, saved loads of time and gave an accurate clean cut to easily join.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good I have been using this saw to cut out redundant 2” steel heating pipes and it cuts through them very quickly and with ease using Bosch coarse toothed blades. There’s no hot works as with a grinder and much easier cuts than a jigsaw. Don’t know how I’ve managed without one for so long. My only criticism is that it eats through 3ah batteries pretty quickly but overall I’m very pleased. Not a tool that’ll I’ll use every day, but definitely a great addition to my kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great reliable reciprocating s Ordered from Screwfix, delivered next day for free. Great saw with easy blade change, no tool required. I bought this bare as the makita batteries are obviously interchangeable. Cuts through branches and timber effortlessly using a 5 ah battery. Would definitely recommend this tool
