Cordless angle grinder with brushless motor, powered by 18V Li-ion LXT slide-type battery (sold separately). Features soft start, anti-restart, variable speed control, on/off paddle-type switch with lock-on function, 3-stage LED battery fuel gauge to indicate charge level, overheating and overload, electric current limiter for overload protection and spindle lock for easy wheel changes. Spiral bevel gears offer smoother rotations and more efficient transfer of energy and wire mesh intake covers prevent debris invading motor and removable dust covers. Side grip can be installed on either side for operator convenience. Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT) automatically alters cutting speed according to load for optimum operation, and Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT), shuts tool down if rotation speed suddenly slows. Battery protection circuit prevents damage to battery from overheating, over-discharge and overload current. Can be connected to dust extraction system with optional dust collecting wheel cover (sold separately). Not compatible with G-Series batteries.
