Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for what I needed Not that powerful BUT perfect for removing floor tiles. Light weight means you can keep going all day if necessary.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ideal for DIY Seems to be a well made drill, quite powerful for its size. SDS drills are ideal for drilling masonry and concrete, this one is great value and drills well. Can’t comment on reliability, haven had it for long, but it does come with a 2 year guarantee.

What chisel size fits

Would this lift ceramic floor tiles off a ashfelt floor
Asked by: Fizza
Hello Lizshep, As long as it has a SDS plus fitting then the chisel should work. You can use normal chisels in it but there are also specific tile lifting chisels you can buy which have a cranked shaft for making removing tiles easier. Thank you for using Q&A

Is this suitable to drill a core through breezeblock

i need to drill a 100mm core to run the hose for a tumble dryer through a breezeblock garage wall, will this be able to handle it?
Asked by: Simon987987987
Hello Simon987987987, The maximum drilling capacity in masonry is stated as 20mm, but I believe that you can go bigger with core drills if you go very slowly (and it's important to have hammer action off). Thank you for using Screwfix Q&A.

I'm looking at buying this to drill a few holes into normal walls and to drill the occasional hole through my exterior wall around 450mm. Is this any better than a standard hammer drill or am I better buying the bigger heavier ones. Thank you
