Hi daztheface,
We are sorry to hear that you are having problems with this dimmer.
Please see Scubadooper's response below:
'First check: Are the LEDs dimmable? Not all are.
Then: Are they leading edge or trailing edge dimmable? There's a difference - this dimmer is leading edge. If they are dimmable I'm guessing they are trailing edge.'
I would also add that the minimum dimmable load for this dimmer is 5w and the maximum is 50w, so it would also be worth checking this.
Thank you for using Screwfix Q&A.

Is this dimmer compatible with the product - LAP BC GLS LED LIGHT BULB 806LM 9.5W 5 PACK (3118T)
Bulb Q&A says "To dim LED bulb requires a dimmer that uses trailing edge technology..."; However the dimmer says its Leading Edge; despite both being LAP.
If bulb not compatible can you recommend a LED, Bayonet Cap bulb which is compatible with dimmer

Hello,
Leading edge dimmers have higher minimum loads, which makes it difficult to run led's (which have reduced wattage). If you're running a large circuit of LED's then you'd likely get away with using LED bulbs on a leading edge dimmer (because you would be meeting/exceeding the minimum required wattage).
However, if you only have 1, or a few led bulbs running from a leading edge dimmer switch then you'll likely end up with flickering/poor performing lights.
If you only have a few led bulbs it would be far better to simply opt for a trailing edge dimmer instead.
Thanks for using Q&A. [DG]

Will this switch dim a ceiling light with 3 x 4 watt led dimmable bulbs

Hello there,
This would be able to dim a circuit up to 400W and below as long as the combined wattage is not over this, and the bulbs are dimmable this would not be an issue.
