Rated 2 out of 5 by from failed after 1 1/2 years As usual go with the low reviews and a good instinct. The product power failed after 1 1/2 year in operation. Shame that the industry can only manufacture products for the rubbish tip. Greta, you are absolutely right. We must change things. In the past you would have an arial and it lasted 50 years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What a let-down The amplifier/distributor is feature-packed and easy to install, provided you have a power supply/socket nearby. The problem I had was that it continued to work well and then suddenly failed. No power. No TV. Less than a year after purchase. I checked all the supply side and there was no problem therefore it must have been an internal component. So I would say... unreliable!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Booster plugs Just to clear things up for people, the plugs you need to fit these boosters for normal aerial leads are, f plug order number 17061. This is not explained in the description. Hope this helps.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failure to work Our existing unit was not performing correctly so we thought we get the same make ....but slightly upgraded version This unit worked for about an hour then fail which meant that the problem we had before continued. All avenues were sort we had to call a engineer to test for RF which within minutes discovered this item not to be working. Call out costs plus another unit ...... Very expensive product failure

Compatibility in loft for splitting signal?

Hello - Can this splitter be used in a loft (power available) to split the signal of a SLX Omni Directional Wall 3 in 1 aerial? I'm at first fit stage, so now is the time to do it.
Asked by: Baldyangel
The LDA204LR 4-Way Distribution Amplifier can be used with the SLX Omni Directional Wall 3 in 1 aerial, though there may be too much overall amplification depending on how strong the Freeview signal is

I sometimes have a poor signal and lose HD and some Freeview channels. Will this help to give me a stronger signal?

Can I plug the aerial cable from my outdoor aerial into this and then plug in the aerial cable to my tv using conventional coaxial plugs, or do I have to buy different connectors to attach to them?
Asked by: Kaykay
The use of an Amplifier like the Labgear LDA204LR should improve the available signal, F Type plugs would be required https://www.screwfix.com/p/labgear-f-plug-coaxia-connector-10-pack/17061?_requestid=212271

What is the gain of each channel. It says 10db return loss, is this an error.?

Asked by: Namenick5
The gain per output is 10dB. Thanks https://www.labgear.co.uk/product-categories/amplifiers/distribution-amplifiers/2-input-4-output-distribution-amplifier/

coaxial cable

Which coaxial cable would you recommend for this and also lead ends?
Asked by: Kishen
This will work with all coaxial cable however we would always recommend using a PF100 (or equivalent cable). Thanks

When all set up my freeview box does not receive a signal
Asked by: Spud1386
