Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent The first pump I replaced with one of these was an 80's pump that used about 120W continuously when the heating was on. This one, leaving it in default mode, it works perfectly and consumes 6W. So it's about the same as replacing an old 100W incandescent light bulb with a new LED bulb. Very quiet pump when it is running at low power but it is a little noisy when running flat out. Fortunately I have never encountered a situation where it needs to run anything like flat out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top pump Last 2 pumps Grundfos lasted 18 years each so purchased same again except this one more fancy which helped on installation only showings 8 watts usage on top setting instead off 34 watts, Grundfos and Screwfix very helpful but after re bleed air trapped in boiler problem solved now running perfect and quiet

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Bought this as a replacement for a failing but not failed pump. Straight swap and comes with a plug connector rather than hard wiring into the pump, Up and running within 30 minutes. I know this will be good for the next 10 or so years so the price is very affordable with a very good payback.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grundfos Alpha 1 Bought to replace a failed pump in a 4 bedroom domestic house. It usefully has plug in power, so I was able to cable up the plug without having to support the pump. Also has push in wiring block so no screwdriver needed. The pump is the same size as my old one so straightforward replacement. Once installed, plugged in the power, restored water to the system and it started up as expected. I left to run on auto and everything seems fine. So much quieter than the old pump. I can't comment on reliability as it's only been installed 2 days, but very happy so far.

Are These Supplied With the Angle Plug?

part 98610291 I am not sure whether they are supplied as standard ( as well as the straight plug ) or whether they need to be sourced separately.

looking to replace my old Grundfos pump UPS 15-60-130 P/N 59526600 Will this be suitable?

Can this pump be fitted upside down

Asked by: Refrig
Sorry for the late answer, but this may be helpful for other customers... NO! The pump shaft ( if you can imagine that inside the pump ) must be horizontal. If the pump is upside down it would be vertical, which is strictly no allowed.
