Rated 5 out of 5 by from GOOD QUALITY ANTIFREEZE Did what it said on the bottle. Easy to add to the system and instructions very clear. Sufficient supply in the bottle to treat the whole system in one application. Would recommend to apply to all central heating systems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flomasta c/heating anti-freeze I have used this product for several years in my French holiday home which is left empty for the winter months. Having suffered a burst several years ago, this is a precaution worth taking. Flomaster is much cheaper than French brands and certainly effective. It also inhibits corrosion. An excellent product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best value We used to use the No Nonsense product and have now moved to this, they say compatible but frankly its just the same stuff with a different label and just as good. We use it in every install as we only do marine heating where antifreeze is a must unlike domestic systems. The drain down and renew periods can be extended by topping up with Flomasta inhibitor. I would take a lot of persuading to move to another product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quick delivery to France, Good quick delivery, only time will tell if the product is as good as claimed but heating system was instantly quieter and I believe the rads are hotter so, so far all good.

What effect on Efficiencies does this have?

What effect will adding the inhibitor have on my heating system at a 25% mix? Are there reductions?
Asked by: Kevster69
Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. Quite the opposite. The inhibitor contained will prevent corrosion and sludge and improve efficiency rather than reduce it. Hope that helps. Thank you for using Q&A. MH

Is Flomasta 0623 compatible with Fernox MB1, please?

MB1 was all there was when started!
Asked by: Fulgur
As the loading of the antifreeze at 25% is so high to achieve frost protection we are not concerned that some MB1 could remain in the system.

Is this product suitable to mix with Sentinel X500 inhibited antifreeze to increase strength?

Asked by: Knick
Hi Knick, The supplier has already advised that under BS7593 it is not recommended to mix products from different manufacturers - ideally flush the system and refill using one brand only. However in the case of inhibited antifreeze both these products are based on mono-propylene glycol - if your purpose is to refresh the freezing point protection then we see no reason not to mix them. Thank you for using Q&A. PB
