Boiler antifreeze
Hi I have a combi boiler bosch which has 8 radiators on. I've recently bought the flomaster antifreeze how much of that do I add to the system

So by rule of thumb 8 rads is 80L system capacity - you need 25% loading so that’s 20L - or 4 x 5L packs. That will give BuildCert/NSF corrosion and scale protection and -11C of frost protection.

What type of inhibitor
To fill an empty electrical radiator with an inhibitor, which is best solution to use. Typically Glycol?, I saw (4409R)' on your site.
Is this the best solution to use?, another you could suggest?
also, the capacity of the radiator is 62L.

Hello Patrick1977ab,
We would recommend speaking with the manufacturer of your radiator as to what product they would recommend for their radiator.

What is the conductivity of this, can it be used in a co2 laser cooling system.
Asked by: Anonymous
The conductivity of the neat product is 40uS/cm - if low conductivity is critical the product should be diluted with demineralised water. Please note that conductivity is not a controlled parameter for this product - its intended uses are for wet central heating systems, underfloor heating and ground source heat pumps and no responsibility can be taken for its use in your application.

What effect on Efficiencies does this have?
What effect will adding the inhibitor have on my heating system at a 25% mix? Are there reductions?
Asked by: Kevster69
Hello,
Thank you for your enquiry.
Quite the opposite. The inhibitor contained will prevent corrosion and sludge and improve efficiency rather than reduce it.
Hope that helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
