Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fischer Resin Watched the Video, read the reviews, Drilled & Cleaned the 6 Holes in Brickwork. Loaded the Tube with Nozzle attached, pumped out about until resin mixed, First hole filled ok, the rest of the Resin went off in seconds had to use the second Nozzle and managed to get 2 more holes filled before Resin went solid in the Nozzle. Won't be using again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid fixing, good value Not cheap, but went off well and provided a good joint for cracked concrete. Always used this brand and would trust it for fixing most things. Will see how it stands the test of time!

What torque ?

What max torque for M12 nut can you use once set?

Once cured, can this be sanded?

Asked by: BarneyT

How many 14mm x 100mm holes will one tube typically fill?

Asked by: Krishall
If you're using 12mm studding in to a solid brick or block then around 20-25 holes, allowing for a bit of wastage. If you end up drilling right through the brickwork then less as some of it will end up being pushed out the back in to the wall cavity. If the bricks have holes like engineering bricks it'll be less. Use mesh sleeves if drilling anything other than a solid brick. Remember to coat the part of the stud that will be inside the wall in resin before inserting in to the wall as this guarantees better adhesion

Is this suitable for horizontal fixings into brick ? approximately 12mm diameter hole and 6-8mm bolt fixing?

Asked by: Anonymous
You generally drill the hole 2mm bigger than your bolt size so m6 8mm hole, m8 10mm, m10 12mm, m12 14mm, fill the hole and bang your bolt/bar in, works great used many times

suitable for awning?

I am looking to install an awning weighing 75kg onto a solid brick wall. Would this be appropriate and would it work with FIS E internal threaded sockets?
Asked by: Alex99
Don't know about the sockets you refer to but this was the resin recommended to me by Fischer tech support for my awning (7m long x 4m out). Fixing is to 1930's rendered blockwork wall of variable quality - this resin with M12 stainless rods worked a treat (as it's suitable for cracked concrete). REALLY important to get the dust out of the hole and try to avoid going into the cavity...you can remove any excess around the hole with a multitool.
