Faithfull Smoothing & Block Plane with Carry Bags 2 Pack (913HL)
Twin pack consisting of a No.4 smoothing plane (for smoothing and final finishing) and a No. 60 1/2" block plane (designed for end grain work or where single handed operation is required). No.4 plane features a lever cap with a brass locking screw to secure the blade assembly and enables easy release for sharpening. Traditionally used for planing along the grain of items such as doors, shelves and skirting boards to obtain a perfect fit. No. 60 block plane has a low angle cutter and fully adjustable mouth for both coarse fine shaving applications and is ideal for all types of end grain work. Commonly used to trim laminate flush to worktops and boards in domestic and industrial applications. Wooden handles and guidance knobs for user comfort. Blades will require honing before use. Each supplied in a zip-up storage case.
