Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice but trackless Nice saw, does what it says no issues, pain with the short rails and additional not available, but web says other rails fit it, so will look see, 2 x 1400 would have been better option or 2 x 700 plus 1 x 1400 better kit. A rail bag is recommended to take care of them as bends and twists are not good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DIY Nice little toy , my only issue was the rails 2x 700mm , would of preferred 2 or 1 1400mm , awkward curing 600 panels , great toy though nice and neat with speed control on blade

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The quality isn’t quite there I had used this saw twice when, for its third outing, I set it up and it wouldn’t achieve anything like full power. It rotated at about 10% of its max speed and stalled out when I went to cut some 9mm ply. I checked the brushes etc they were all good. Let me down and cost me a mornings work....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value I've owned this saw for a number of months now building mainly mdf cabinets. The saw cuts perfectly time and time again. But there are issues. First the anti kick back can make the saw frustrating to use so much so I've removed it also the start buttons can be a pain to engage and still are months later. I've paired the saw with a makita track and use the stock track with no issues. Over all I think it's still worth every penny even with its issues.

Are there any known issues with the saw sticking on the track?

I bought this saw a week ago and have an issue with the saw getting stuck on the track during operation, with no obvious reason. I have to take it off the track and put it back on. Could this be a fault?
Asked by: PeteLeeds02
Hello PeteLeeds02, Before first use and from time to time as needed, apply a light spray of lubricant so that the saw will glide smoothly along the length of the track. Also make sure that no cutting debris is left on the track. Thank you for using Q&A

Available ripping blades?

You only seem to stock one blade that fits this saw? What blade should I use for ripping large wooden slabs?
Asked by: Barisax
Hello, This tool is fairly universal so many blades (of the correct diameter and bore) will fit this. So you don't have to only use the blades currently sold by us. You might want to pop online and locate a retailer that sells a 185mm x 20mm blade that meets your cut requirements. Thanks for using Q&A. [DG]

Replacement Blades

You only sell 1 blade thats 185mm and 20mm core. Is that because smaller blades can also be fitted ? For instance 5505J ?
Asked by: Jules9
Hello Jules9, No, you cannot use a smaller blade as when they are used on products designed for larger blades they may exceed the rated RPM for the blade which can cause a safety issue. Thank you for using Q&A (CW)
