Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good Used to sleeve a 22mm Gas pipe with 28mm copper. Drilled through a really wide cavity wall, plaster, 100mm concrete block, 100mm insulation, another 100mm concrete block and 30mm of render. Clean cut with no blowout on the other side, take your time and let the drill do the work. I did have to open up one side of the hole a little to allow the larger end of the drill to get inside for the extra length, but this is fairly easy to do with an SDS Chisel. Made a difficult job easy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from VERY disappointing Positives - 1) not too expensive and 2) in stock Negatives - 1)Very difficult to centre a hole even if you have the long pilot drill which is not really long enough and has a lot of flex in it. 2) Teeth bend quickly break off easily - I had to buy 2 to finish 2 holes through a cavity wall 3) generates massive quantities of very fine dust - be sure to have a stock of dust masks if using inside a confined space 4) Has to be this long since the arbor does not fit into the hole - so definitely do not get this one if your wall thickness is longer than the drill bit. I also have a larger (48mm) bit from another manufacturer which has been much more satisfactory and is going strong after multiple holes. My recommendation - don't buy this one, get a bigger diameter (and shorter) bit - easier to control and you can always fill in excess diameter.
