If the sensor ever comes up with the failed message, the sensor either hasn't been triggered correctly while the hub is in pairing mode, or it is out of range. We'd suggest you repeat trying to pair the sensor and if this doesn't pair, take the hub closer to the sensor, as it could be some signal interference stopping them from pairing, and a RT101 Range extender might be needed, or the hub relocated.
