Rated 5 out of 5 by from This bolts are brilliant!!!! I’ve been struggling with a gate post that I fitted a couple of years ago using expanding bolts and screw type hammer though fixings. The post keep coming loose or moving if the gate slammed. Removed the old fixings and drilled the post with a 10mm drill and drilled the brick wall with a 10mm masonry bit. The bolts went straight in and tightened using a 15mm socket. I don’t this post what ll ever move again, brilliant!! Wish I’d known about these before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to use These are dead easy to use, and I find much more convenient that sleeve anchors or plugs. Drill a hole in brick, breeze blocks, concrete (even garden wall stones) then screw these in using either a spanner or a socket. I've got some gateposts I fixed to a wall with these still there 15years later that have not worked loose in all that time. I've used them to fix an awning over the patio doors, gate and fence posts to walls. They come in a reasonable range of sizes and are very secure once they're in. I've bought a few packs in different sizes over the years and never been disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Very easy to install and they hold great. I used them for attaching fence posts onto red brick walls. They've done a great job.

I'm looking to use washers with these bolts to secure a fence post. I know a 10mm hole is recommended, so I take it I would need a 12mms washer or could I get away with a 10??

Asked by: UKBloke
Hello UKBloke, 10mm or 12mm washers should be suitable to use with these bolts. The outer diameters of the washers will be approximately 20mm and 24mm. The larger the diameter, the greater the area over which the tensioning of the bolt head is spread. Thank you for using Q&A.

Easyfix M10 x 120 concrete bolt says product diameter is 10mm. It then says drill size 10mm? The bolt diameter must therefore be greater then 10mm?

Asked by: Coogerand
Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. The 10mm relates to the root/minor dimension so the thread itself is obviously greater than that and does require a 10mm hole. Hope that helps. Thank you for using Q&A
