Dremel VersaTip Soldering Iron Kit (601AK)
Dremel multi-functional kit containing a cordless soldering iron powered by butane gas (not supplied). Suitable for applications from soldering to pyrography. Features variable temperature control (550°C to 1200°C), a flame lock for continuous use during longer projects, and safety locks to prevent accidental ignition. Integrated ignition trigger allows quick start-ups without the need for a separate igniter. Fast and easy refill using commonly available lighter gas, with a clear indicator showing when the tank is full. Includes a soldering tip, hot cutting knife, shaping knife, pyrography tip, wide flame head, hot air tip, and deflector, each designed for targeted applications such as pyrography, cutting, and heating, as well as solder, sponge, tins, and wrenches. Heat-up time is instant for open flame use, and about 25 seconds with tips attached. Operating time ranges from ±45 to ±90 minutes per full tank, depending on flame size and use frequency. After use, the protective cap ensures safe cooling and storage, preventing damage and extending the lifespan of the tool.
