Rated 5 out of 5 by from a simple four wire thermostat I originally bought a Drayton RTS8 to replace an old RTC thermostat but when i queried connections, I was advised by the Drayton tech team to use the RTS4 to which they specified how the connections from my old RTC thermostat mapped to the RTS4. Very helpful advice.

I want to replace old RTC Thermostat I have an old floor standing gas boiler with a Drayton flow share relay & Randall 4033 programmer would the RTS4 thermostat be a suitable replacment

Can I replace a Sunvic TLX with this?

There are around 21 types of Sunvic TLX room stats, some 2 wire, some 3 wire. The RTS4 needs 4 wires. You will be best using the RTS8 combistat, called this because it can be wired in a combination of ways... Two or three wires. It looks identical to the RTS4 on the outside.

Yes, the RTS4 is the replacement, your old RTC terminal 3 would be the new 1 in the RTS 4 and the old wire in the RTC terminal 1 would go to the new terminal 3.
