Rated 5 out of 5 by from Far superior to No Nonscence Used cans of this stuff for plasterboard and insulated plasterboard. It is far superior to the No Nonscenscence sticky foam available at Screwfix. The No Nonscence foam just seems feeble by comparison, its like standard foam but low expansion. Instastik has far more adhesion and the foam is more dense. It costs more and is worth every penny more, a class above.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sticks BUT... Bought two can of these to fix skirting boards and firstly I'll say that it works well for that function. But and it's a big but, both cans stopped working after one use of them. Had one opened and used it to stick one 3m skirting board. Cleaned the can and gun and went back to it the following day. But there was no pressure in the can to release anything despite it being about 75% full. Opened the second can and the exact same thing happened. Managed to get two skirting board done but after that no pressure again. So while the skirting boards have stuck well, it's a complete waste of money if the aerosol essentially gives up while the can is still almost full.

Can this be used with Insulated Plasterboard?

Asked by: JL2020
Used it loads of times for this, perfect tool for the job.. spray a bead 2inches from the edge all the way around the plasterboard, then zig zags through the middle offer it to the wall, hold it in place with a level for a few minutes and you're done. Always worth trying the board in the location beforehand, and getting some Packers in place at the bottom so it's level, as you cant mess about getting it level afterwards like plasterboard adhesive, you've got one shot.

Life of plaster boards stuck on to brick and block

What is the expected life of the plaster boards stuck on internal brick and block walls with Insta Stik expanding foam grab adhesive. How long will the boards stay up for, say compared to normal plaster board dot and dab. Thanks...
Asked by: dm1234
The Insta Stik is a replacement for dot and dab methods of installation and so would last for the same amount of time the dot and dab method would allow at the least - exact time will vary according to variables between applications such as board size and weight, additional fittings, etc.
