Rated 5 out of 5 by from DCN660 After doing a lot of research on a number of finish nailers I opted for this as the reviews were excellent. I can honestly say I am not disappointed, fantastic machine of which has helped save me a lot of time and effort cladding a 10ft x 7.5ft shed with 12mm tongue and groove. Looking forward to using this on many more projects. Can’t comment at the moment on reliability as only just had this, but judging by the reviews I have read I believe it will be as reliable as all dewalt tools. Great service as always from Screwfix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Ace! I've had mine for 3 years now, so can comment on reliability properly. I have fired literally thousands of nails and used it both indoors and out in the rain. Good points:- 1. No gas, therefore no problems on frosty mornings! 2. Utterly reliable using DeWalt nails (not other/cheaper/different brands). 3. The 2.0A battery lasts for about 500 nails plus. 4. It is lightweight and the belt hook is in the right place. 5. Not deafening! 6. Needs no oiling - ever. 7. If you get a jam due to a nail hitting something like a screw etc, simply flip the lever to free it then carry on. 8. For a brad gun it really does a strong nailing job. The Dewalt nails are a bit rough on the edges, so grip well. Bad Points:- 1. Price 2. Every now and then you hit a knot or something and that means the nail head isn't fully sunk. You need to keep a nail punch and hammer nearby to give it an extra tap. 3. You need to use Dewalt nails, but they're not expensive as you're not buying gas. Don't be talked into using other brands. I've used Dewalt stainless nails for timber cladding and galvanised for everything else. It really is a big improvement on my old Paslode, which hated cold mornings and you needed hearing protection. 3 Years on, it still looks good because I clean it and look after it and never put it away damp. Batteries are still as new and I'm going to buy the first fix bare gun to complete the package.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice This is a nice bit of kit, the only negative is, that it doesn’t indicate when you have ran out of nails.
