Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish Title says it all, opened got about an inch out, before it became too hard to get anymore out, either I got a off one or this stuff goes off far too quickly after opening, hopefully got enough in the two anchor holes time will tell, won't be buying this again though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good resin, poor cartridge Bought this for an iron stone wall, as it was just about the only product that stated it was suitable. The resin itself I think is brilliant. The stone wall was quite poor, nearly lost the drill a few times as it hit a pocket of either broken/soft stone, or a complete void. Once it cured none of the anchors spun, so really doing what it was meant to do. The problem is the application, cartridge fits a standard skeleton gun, which is great if you don't have resin guns. However, getting the stuff out the cartridge is seriously hard going, with the amount of pressure required. The two parts are in plastic bags in the cylinder and I guess that they don't collapse very well as they are pumped out. If they can sort out the cartridge problem then I would use it, but if not then I would have to think hard before buying it again. Could also do with extra nozzles being available, or two per cartridge. Ended up drilling, cleaning, pushing in a anchor to support, then going back to remove the anchors one at a time, pump in resin and refit anchor in hole. But if you can't do this then you are going to have a lot of wasted resin. Would I recommend the resin? Yes! Would I recommend this type of cartridge? Not at all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great resin Used to fix bolts in a pad stone super strong. Used rest to stick window lintel down and stone window sills in place. Amazing stuff.

What weight loading can this resin be used up to?

I want to hang a gate off a brick and concrete pillar, weight will be approx. 150 KG. 12mm Threaded rod would be set in approx. 200mm through 100mm brick and 100mm concrete
Asked by: Jase63
The weight depends on varying factors. However 150kg is minimal for this resin. Typically you would expect an m12 to do approx 700 kg per fixing into concrete as a recommended load.

Resin curing time

I am looking for an external resin which gives me about 10 minutes curing time.

this product will set at different times depending on air temperature. For example between 10-19c it will become gel after 15 mins, set in dry conditions after 80 mins.
