(8 products)An S trap is a pipe that is bent into an S shape to hold water and prevent sewer gases and bacteria from entering the property while allowing waste to drain through the pipe. Care must be taken when using this type of trap as the water in the U bend can be siphoned and allow smells to re-enter the property. S traps are not recommened in new construction.
