can this fan be run continuously?

Asked by: Neil2020

can this inline fan be used with another fan.

We have a humidity controlled fan in the ceiling and would like to add this inline mixed flow fan to draw out more steam from our bathroom which has no windows. That would mean the humidity controlled fan operating the inline fan as well.
Asked by: Fungi

As this fan has no run on timer can it still be used if wired to it's own separate switch to switch on and off manualy

Fitting in the ceiling void

When it says ceiling-mounted, does this mean in the ceiling void between the ground floor ceiling (plasterboard) and the first floor floor-boards?
Asked by: Fittofly
Hi there. These fans are usually installed in loft but can be installed in a void if space allows and the ducting can be routed through. The fan cradle/motor housing is typically screwed to a joist, this is required to prevent wobble and vibration which would otherwise affect performance and produce noise. I hope that this helps.

What is maximum length of ducting

What is the maximum length of ducting this would operate on ?
Asked by: Dism
Hi there, it will vary from installation to installation depending on factors such as the positioning and length of any bends in the ducting run, however as a guide this should be able to cope with a run of up to 8m in a typical installation. Hope this helps.
