Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faulty Bought this one for a customer to replace a noisy unit, looks nice and quiet but pull switch faulty so need to return.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY Terrible cheap quality pull switch. Had the fan for 6 months and can't believe I decided to put up with it. The design of the pull cord switch placing is terrible, such a tiny little switch which would not work. The pull cord is rendered useless after 1-2 months of use, had to keep removing the top cover to mess around with the switch to turn it off

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy one Great looking fan, operates well, easy to fit. Only problem is the pull switch is rubbish, and as this is a fundamental component, renders the whole fan USELESS !! Embarrassing to turn up at a customers to fit a replacement fan, spend time fitting a new one, to then have to put the old one back. With a reputable manufacturer and mid- range price, I certainly don't expect to have this aggro. Fuming, will not buy another Xpelair product

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No good for ceiling mounting I had to return two of these pull cord fans back to Screwix as the integrated pull switch was defective when trying to mount it on the bathroom ceiling. I fitted the first one, diagnosed the problem, went back to Screwfix on another day to buy another (from a different branch), fitted that one with just the same problem. Apart from the time involved, it was most embarrassing in front of the customer. Thankfully Screwfix did refund me for both fans. He chose another brand next time.
