Plug size?
What size rawl plug should I use with these screws?
Asked by: Fossy51
Hello Fossy51,
You would need a 6 x 30mm wall plug as you ideally only want the threaded part of the screw in the wall plug and the type would be dependant on what type of wall you using it for as well.

Yellow or Uncoloured Zinc Plating
Is there an advantage to having the yellow zinc-plating over the regular silver coloured variety?
Is it just cosmetic, or is there some advantage in terms of corrosion resistance?
Asked by: drjwolfe
Hello drjwolfe,
The difference between the two is just purely an aesthetic choice as the corrosion resistance of the two is roughly the same whether they are yellow zinc passivated or bright zinc plated.

What is the length of the threaded part of this 100mm screw, in relation to the non-threaded part?
I'm looking to use these to attach 25mm thick Tudor boards to my outside walls and don't want the non-threaded part to pass through the planks and into the wall, as I'm having to use wooden dowels to screw into, thanks to my soft Norfolk red bricks....
Asked by: DIYSilverFox
Hello DIYSilverFox,
The length of the threaded section is 60mm.
