Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb value for money I bought this saw about five years ago and have done LOTS of diy with it since. It is not perfect but for the price I wouldn't expect it to be. Modifying the guide to get straight cuts took a bit of sorting. But a real workhorse. Simple to operate. Can't recommend it enough.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't bother Although the price seems appealing, I wouldn't recommend this table saw. The table itself wasn't flat raising at least 3mm on the right side next to the groove meaning the wood would not sit flat affecting the cut. As well as this the mitre guide would wobble around like mad in both groves. Another issue was trying to get the blade 100% straight which was near impossible. Overall it just wasn't fit for purpose at all, I ended up leaving it at a mates house and have never picked it up again. I read the reviews before purchasing and thought it'd be fine for what I needed it for, I should have returned it! Buy the best you can with your budget, but sometimes its better to spend a bit more for quality. For this reason I would stay away from this item.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exceptional value I read the reviews before buying this and had some concerns but having used it for the last few weeks I can confirm it is exceptional value and worked flawlessly for me in building a shed from scratch and cutting down floorboards and general house renovation tasks. Granted it's not perfect and wouldn't suit a carpenter seeking absolute precision but for a DIYer as a first table saw it's ideal. Attaching a Henry to the dust output worked well to minimise dust too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic for everyone. The Instructions are easy enough to follow but double checking is best to avoid a wrong move. The assembly is not without some frustration and work around need to be brought in to play. First issue was fitting the front rail, instructions are to loosely fit six hex nuts whose heads fit in the groove of the rail, trying to slide the rail over wobble nuts was impossible, so the nut heads were slid along the rail (they are then captive in the rail,) and lined up to correspond with the six holes, once the first nut and washers are fixed the rail is held in place and the rest of the nuts and washers installed. Install of the rip fence says push the fence completely to the blade then slide the rail to align with the red line so it is on the zero position. So now we are trying to hold the fence true to the blade whilst wiggling the rail to align with the red line. Nah! Lock the down the fence with the red line over zero and slide the front rail to flush up the fence to the blade with two hands, then tighten the six nuts holding the rail. As has been mentioned in previous reviews, the fence when locked down, does not sit parallel to the blade which renders it useless, solution... As the fence misaligns to the right when locked down, (fence was to the right of the blade) I made a shim from an old credit card to go between the locking handle assembly front knurled screw and the fence, filed it flat to just less than 1mm job done. Comments about the mitre guage being sloppy in the guide grooves may put prospective buyers off but I achieved perfect 45° cuts by simply applying pressure to push the mitre guage to the side of the guide groove adjacent to the blade. I will no doubt construct a sled in due course for more ease of use and versitility. The angle of the blade at 90° and 45° was spot on after figuring out that you need to slam it into position via the Bevel adjusting handwheel, I did have to realign the indication line once the angles were established, no big deal. All in all, a sturdy machine at a cheap price if it stays the course, it's a winner for me as a DIYer.

Some reviewers have sited the need to create your own "sled" for this to provide more accurate cuts - can anyone explain what they mean and what it entails?

Asked by: ColHale
Hello ColHale, A sled is used to help create a more accurate cut and makes using the saw safer. I would recommend having a look online as there are some guides which show how you can make and use this with the saw. Thank you for using Q&A

Dust extraction adapter

I have a Titan vacuum and now a table saw, is there an adapter available so that the two hoses connect together
Asked by: KevlarB
Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. Apparently if you remove the hose supplied with the saw the vacuum hose will connect to the saw dust port. Hope that helps. Thank you for using Q&A.
