Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good bandsaw for hobbyists I'm a beginner guitar builder and this has quickly become one of my most-used tools. A few caveats for you though: 1: You MUST adjust the blade guides and bearings both above and below the table. These are essential to keeping the blade aligned correctly and they don't come pre-aligned from the factory. 2: The supplied fence really isn't that great, and you should always double & triple check your cutting angles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing Product Bought this product based on Screwfix reviews and review on YouTube. Can only assume there is wide variation in quality of product from item to item. Has potential but badly executed in practice. 1. Fence guide badly designed and manufactured, doesn't sit flat/stable on table. Had to make major modifications to it to get it to work properly. 2. The thumb screw for slot in table too long and the fence guide fouls it if you need to set it close to blade. Had to shorten it. 3. Tires are narrower than the width of the groove in the wheel. This leaves a gap of almost 2mm between the edge of the tire and the inner edge of the wheel 'rim'. 4. It's impossible to set blade tracking so gullet of blade is in centre of upper wheel. 5. To get sufficient blade tension, tension screw has to be almost fully screwed down leaving no slack to absorb stress on blade. 6. Upper wheel traction adjustment has to be set to max to counteract max tension setting. 7. Close examination reveals tracking is not consistent on and between upper and lower wheels, so blade moves about, fore/aft and thus moves to/from thrust bearings. 8. There is sideways movement in the upper blade guide, left to right, making it almost impossible to set the blade guides accurately or preventing the blade touching them, either above or below the table. This is when the upper guide is locked down. 9. The quick tension release handle fouls the tension setting knob. 10. The table locking handle fouls against the underside of the table. 11. The bolts for the "adjustable" feet are too short so if they are screwed fully home the rubber feet are distorted out of shape. 12. The stabilization extension for the base, when fitted means the saw is not level fore/aft. This isn't essential but is a possible issue when checking whether the wheels are coplanar. 13. Because the blade doesn't track in the same position on both wheels, the blade can't be perpendicular to the table, fore/aft. 14. Setting the blade perpendicular to the blade left/right is possible but is a nightmare to achieve. 15. The upper blade guide assembly doesn't sit at right-angles to the blade. 16. The left-right blade guides don't oppose one-another but are off-set, making positioning them on the blade problematic. 17. The blade tension wheels and guides tend to move in their holders as they are locked down, making setting them at the right distance from the blade almost impossible. 18. Setting the blade tension to the max means that the blade tracks so far forward on the lower wheel that the blade fouls the lower guide assembly blade guard. This has to be set slightly open to counteract this because there is no adjustment possible in the positioning of the lower blade guide assembly in overall terms. It also means the blade also fouls the plastic blade surround in the table surface, cutting into it. 19. The full range of movement in the rack-and-pinion assembly of the upper blade guide is not available because the top of the guide fouls the underside of the socket for locking the upper wheel housing door. That covers most of the points. Despite all the above, it is possible to set the saw up to function adequately. I suspect that even if I spent double, maybe even triple the amount, I might not get a band saw that was any better. That is why I have persevered with it and not returned it. I may buy a better blade soon in order to see whether it might help a bit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Advarage I've owned this bandsaw for a few years now it's OK the blade in my opinion is to thin. Ive ordered a 3/8th blade hopefully it will cut more than balsa wood then

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value product Set up was easy and pre configured options were satisfactory. Saw works well and blade is ok but not a quality item the overall build quality is again ok and is in line with the budget price. Like other reviewers have noted the rip fence required adjustment to allow it to sit squarely on the table. A simple job with a file to allow the plastic clamp to fully tighten. Overall the saw seems a little flimsy and I suspect the adjustment controls will not last long. OK for the price.
