Warm roof

Hi, are these suitable for warm roof construction for securing counter batterns to rafters with 150mm PIR insulation between rafter and counter batterns?
Asked by: Otm1
Thank you for your enquiry. Whilst Timber-Tite® may perform well in this application, without sight of the full installation, it is hard for us to make a recommendation. In this case, we would always recommend you seek the advice of an architect or structural engineer.

Can these be used to screw through aluminium joists into wood?

Asked by: Douglas01
Thank you for your enquiry, Timber-Tite® should work in this application but in this instance, i would recommend first drilling a pilot hole.

Could these be used to screw down bolt downs onto decking to take 4 inch posts

Asked by: Hammy1968
Thanks for the enquiry. If by 'bolt down' you are meaning like a metapost holder for fence posts, then yes these would be suitable. Their Net Coat exterior coating is perfect for corrosion resistance against the elements.

Why do the threads only go up part of the screw? Will they hold timber tight. I want to screw 3x3 posts together to make gate frames

Asked by: Customcreations1
Timber-Tite screws are part threaded to help eliminate jacking of the wood making it perfect for joining heavy duty timber jobs. You need to make sure you choose the correct length so that the threads on the screw fully engage the substrate / joining pieces.
