Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Impressed I used these screws on a small deck that I built. The head on these screws are very soft and when used with an impact driver, they get damaged too easily. I've now got lots of damaged screw heads that I won't be able to retrieve. Next time, I'll spend more on a better quality product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too soft Afraid that I need to say I was disappointed with these. Bought during the Covid lockdown because there were no carbon steel ones available. I found them too soft and if it hit a tough piece or a knot they cam out, chewing the head badly enough to prevent reversing and taking them out. I also found several shear of just below the head which proved impossible to remove and these had to be cut with Dremel mini disc. I have installed 2600 of these on my last deck and had to be very careful to drive in dead straight, maintain a good downward pressure and not stop when screwing in

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality Good quality no problems with installation of 32mm decking boards. Have to be careful - used 2mm pilot drill, new PZ2 bit, kept good alignment and steady speed. Damaged a couple Of screw heads taking the screws out.

Can these be used with drywall?

I need to fix some 62.5mm thick insulated plasterboard to battens so really need 85mm screws. Would these be ok or would they react with the gypsm plasterboard somehow?
