Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just Not Reliable I needed a nail and stapler and looked at this range. There seemed to be more good reviews than bad so I took the plunge. It had to be something that was electrically powered either by battery or mains so this fitted. What a waste of time and money. Within 5 staples it had jammed. I then unjammed it and a few staples later it had jammed again. I used the recommended staples and tried others and still the same problem. Having returned it for a refund I then purchased the Makita DST221 which is head and shoulders better. Ok, it costs more but its the difference between a pedal car and a Porsche.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor reliability Had 2 of these so far. First lasted for about 10 staples then completely jammed up, the second I managed to wrap finish the wrapping on a shed build then jammed up completely. I purchased this to allow me to quickly staple some breather membrane around a shed build then use nails to put the cladding on. Haven't had chance to try nails, but stapling is pretty poor. If you're planning on using the staple function i would avoid, buy a hand stapler instead.

Variable Impact Pressure

Does this unit have a variable pressure to adjust for various brad/staple sizes and receiving material, or does it do it automatically? Thanks.

Double firing issue

Is this suitable for firing series 91 staples? I have these (86870) and they keep double firing. My tool is brand new. I have already sent the tool back and had it replaced. Is there a better tool which fires series 91 staples?

Is this suitable to tack skirting to plaster with brads as extra support whilst gripfill/no nails hardens
