I ask this as the cheap gate values they will be replacing have a course thread, and I don't want to have to replace the existing nuts, and all that involves.
Be careful when fitting these valves as I had issues with the threading.
These are a fine pitch thread as stated by Pegler but I found I could not get Honeywell fine thread backnuts to fit on. Only the suppled nuts will work with these valves which may cause fitting and replacement issues in the future. Also as another has advised, these are often used to replace the cheaper pump valves which have a course thread so are definitely not compatible if you are trying to re use the existing nut and olive from the cheap versions. These are also much longer than the cheaper versions. The dimensions given by Pegler are misleading and the valve is actually 70mm maximum nut to nut external edge, 53mm body only. The pipe insertion is 13mm. The quoted 63mm flat face to fitted backnut is only true when the rubber washer is included.
