Sealing wood?

Is this suitable for applying to a newly sawn piece of walnut wood from a tree that is to be used outside. My understanding is that by using PVA on the sawn area this slows down the moisture loss so that the wood does not crack. Is that correct?
Asked by: BOBC21
Hello BOBC21 PVA is often used to seal various materials against moisture but I cannot advise on specific uses for this product. I would suggest speaking to a local carpenter to see what they would advise. Thank you for using Q&A (CW)

Would this be suitable to stick thin thermal lining paper to a wall prior to wallpapering?

Asked by: Inquisitor
Hi Inquisitor As far as we are aware, this product should be suitable for your intended application. We would advise possibly testing a small section with product first before using it for the whole wall. Thanks for using Q an A
