Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great filler Great for filling screw holes and slightly deeper than normal areas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick and easy This isn’t going to replace proper plaster like multifinish if you need to skim a joint or make a major repair. It is going to make your life easy for some cracks or gaps that’s need tidying up. Simple to use with a very white creamy texture, I used it to repair some cracking of the skim coat around some downlighters I replaced. Pretty good match to the white paint too so saved me a job for now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No nonsense good value! Great value - not as good as the lightweight well know filler brand but certainly up there and half the price!

Use on hairline cracks

I have a hairline crack, which is about 1.5m (ceiling to floor - almost). Is this suitable and do I simply apply it on the crack, then sand/paint? I tried a filler but it didn’t work.
Asked by: Arlene
Hello Arlene, Yes, this should be suitable. Apply it over the crack and use a filling knife to press it into the crack. Use the knife to make sure it's firmly pressed in there and then you can sand afterwards. Thank you for using Q&A

Compatability with polystyrene

I'm building a very large model boat. This product hopefully will help speed up the building. Is it safe to use on polystyrene, or will it melt it? I dont want to ruin year's work. Thanks
Asked by: Sugz
Hello, Thank you for using Q&A. This is suitable for use on polystyrene but as always please test on a sample first. Hope that helps. MH

Is it suitable to screw into?

Need to fill a 10mm wide, 50mm deep hole and screw into the same location, would this product be suitable?
Asked by: Jack37
Hello, It really depends on what kind of weight the fixing will be supporting. This filler, even when dried fully will not be as strong as brick/masonry. If you hang anything heavy its going to need a strong material to fix into. I would not recommend fixing something into this filler. You would likely be better off using an anchor resin/epoxy and perhaps a thicker and longer fixing/anchor. Regrettably, we have no way of knowing the specifics of your installation and your requirements, so we cannot tell you what method would be best. I strongly advise either contacting competent trade person and or researching online the best products to use in your particular situation (filling and redrilling holes). Thanks for using Q&A. [DG]
