Can the fuse be replaced with a 3A fuse to use with a 250w heater?

Hi AndyInNotts. As long as it is a BS 1362 fuse fitted (standard UK plug fuse size) then the RCD will function normally, so yes a 3A fuse will be perfectly fine to use.

Can I wire my tumble dryer with this device. It’s in my shed I thought peace of mind if It can trip out.

Hi Robdought, As long as you do not overload the RCD plug (max load 13A, 3120W / 3.12kW) then it doesn't really matter what device it is connected to.

Hi Tony76, As long as you don't overload the RCD (max constant power capacity 13A. 3120W / 3.12kW) then what device(s) you connect doesn't actually have any relevance.
